So, I've been here on DeviantArt for about a week now so I'm still pretty green, but I can't help but notice there has been very little activity, if any at all around the Nezumi groups. Heck, the reason I'm posting this here is because this group actually responded to my submission, indicating that someone must still be monitoring this group (that or I'm just being silly and this group automatically accepts submissions or something).
So I ask, does anyone know what happened? Why everything seems very slow, almost dead at the moment?

I'm still around, but I don't have time to actively monitor like I used to, unfortunately. I've kind of started steering my career in a different direction, so I'm actually rarely on dA at all. Sadly, it seems like the Nezumi groups are all like this. That was the main reason I created the group so long ago, back when I had the time and actively draw Nezumi as my fursona on FA. I'm still here though, and very much still love and appreciate any Nezumi love.
Oops, sorry I haven't replied to this sooner. The group messages tend to stay hidden unless there are new submissions.
Yeah, I'm the one checking the submissions and monitoring things here now as I believe I'm the only active staff member of the group. There doesn't seem to be much in the way of new Burmecian art. I guess people are moving to other things as this game is pretty old now, and Burmecian fans seemed to be a small niche of the FF9 fanbase to begin with.
That doesn't mean noone will appreciate any new works though. I guess we need to start producing some more nezumi work.

Gotcha, thanks for getting me up to speed on the situation. 
Here's hoping the re-release of FF9 on Steam will trigger a resurgence in the fanbase, I know I'll try and get as many people I know into the game, maybe they'll get into the Burmecian fandom as well.
